Fort Minor – the eagerly anticipated side-project of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda – made their debut with the release of the single ‘Believe Me’ on Linkin Park’s Warner Bros. imprint Machine Shop Records. Taken from the debut album ‘The Rising Tied’ that followed, ‘Believe Me’ presents Fort Minor’s brand of hip-hop to the world and demonstrates Shinoda’s eclectic musical ability as he wrote and played virtually every note on the album.“I wanted to make sure this album has a unique identity,” said Shinoda. “Part of that identity is an organic sound; less keyboard, more instruments.”
