Tom Vek "C-C (You Set the Fire in Me)"
MTVU.COM: London-based one-man-band Tom Vek redefines "garage rock" with his home-brewed confections mixing alt-rock, punk and electronica. Watch as Tom takes his eclectic, low-fi sound to the great outdoors--with a little help from his woodland friends--in the debut of his video, "C-C (You Set the Fire in Me)."

Russian Futurists "Paul Simon"
MARATONPACKS.COM: It's a bit of an oldie, but
Russian Futurists' video for "Paul Simon" is worth a watch. Not because the video is groundbreaking in any way--it's that Spike Jonze commercial, person walks around town and somehow cues people to start dancing--but as an excuse to listen again to the absolutely irresistable song, one of the best singles of last year. Who doesn't want to break into spontaneous dance when those synthetic horns kick in?

Silver Jews "How Can I Love You If You Won't Lie Down"
MARATONPACKS.COM: The video for
Silver Jews' "How Can I Love You If You Won't Lie Down" is a faithful take from the intelligent, insular band on the traditional performance clip, giving us what looks like shoebox theatre by UVA grad students. The difference with the Jews, though, is that it's the truth. Barman plays the awkwardly charismatic lead, super-hot Cassie is doting and thrift-chic, and Nastanovich is, well, Nastanovich.

Arctic Monkeys "When The Sun Goes Down" (3:30)
U2 "Original Of The Species" (4:37) - New Version
STEREOGUM.COM: New Atomic Bomb video premieres today at AOL Music. If you've had enough of Time's Man Of The Year, you will hate the clip, which plays like an update of Godley & Creme's "Cry" ... except every face is Bono's. There are shots of a pregnant belly too, though.

Fort Minor "Believe Me" (3:56) - Directed by Laurent Briet
Fort Minor – the eagerly anticipated side-project of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda – made their debut with the release of the single ‘Believe Me’ on
Linkin Park’s Warner Bros. imprint Machine Shop Records. Taken from the debut album ‘The Rising Tied’ that followed, ‘Believe Me’ presents Fort Minor’s brand of hip-hop to the world and demonstrates Shinoda’s eclectic musical ability as he wrote and played virtually every note on the album.“I wanted to make sure this album has a unique identity,” said Shinoda. “Part of that identity is an organic sound; less keyboard, more instruments.”

Elbow "Leaders Of The Free World" (4:12)
There doesn't appear to be an Elbow consensus: they are their own band; they are the Coldplay it's OK to like; they are the Talk Talk for people who've never heard Talk Talk (or Catherine Wheel); they are somewhere between Supertramp and Superchunk; they are part of a succession of over-introspective, twaddle-peddling British rock bands. They are most of these things — the positive things, at least — at various points. Elbow has released the title track as a single from their rapturously received third album, “Leaders Of The Free World”. Whilst never comfortable with the idea of being a ‘political’ band Elbow have written a single which is a subtle yet scathing attack on the Neo Conservative agenda and general “Let them eat cake” attitude of the Western world’s politicians, is borne of lead singer Guy Garvey’s stringent and well documented opposition to the Iraq war and general political dislocation between the people and their supposed leaders.
